Iwills, you're going to love it. I've been on 2 of Rob's weekenders and they were great.

I wish I could go on this one , because Gower is my normal area, but I'm still out of the water with an injury. I hope it's enough of a success that it gets repeated in the future, so I can get involved.

Oww, sucks about your injuries folks. Get well soon and all that. If its any consolation the way the waves are going at the moment your not missing out on too much. Hopefully you'll both be all healed up soon and the september swells can start rolling in

Kidder, Is this the first one they've done over in the Gower then? I know the schools based in Cornwall but i didn't really think of it being new for them to come to these parts and teach. If the interest on here's anything to go by it should become annual with any luck!

I think this is the first one they've done in Wales.

I mentioned it to them about 2 years ago when I did my last sesh with them in Newquay..not Wales specifically, but the possibility of taking their expertise around different parts of Britain, because there is so little out there in terms of bodyboard tuition. I thought at the time that Gower would be a good area to visit, because of having so many options depending on conditions.

On the other thing... I've got a date for my surgery now..8th September. Hopefully I'll be able to get wet again some time around new year.

Yeh.
I gave them grid references of every spot I knew between Rest Bay and St Davids.

Either that, or they already had something in the planning stages.

Maybe I should get some sort of commission?

...and the same could be said about making assumptions, no doubt.
