My mates startin bodyboarding and he's a big lad just wonderin if anyones got a 44" +, board for sale or know of any decent boards on the market for his size... He's about 6'4 and about 16 stone.. Cheers people

If your mate can get up to Taunton to pick it up I have an NMD XL 44 that I can let him have cheap, but TBH, I'm 6'4", and heavier than your mate, and the 44 was too big for me.

I'm 13 stone and 6'4" and ride a 43". I've mates who are an inch or two shorter than me but eat more pies and they're on 44" Custom X Titan's.

Depends on the conditions you'll most likely surf in. Summer surf or south coast I'd err on the side of caution and get a bigger board. If you only get excited by and surf the bigger stuff opt for a smaller board.

You could try buzzard bodyboards, i have one im 6' 3'' and 20 stone they can make them up to 47'' and 3'' thick, but it maybe a bit much for starting up.
