South African Bodyboard Championship 2007 - Could we do this?

Whilst scouring the internet for surf/sponge movies, I came across this:

So you don't have to download it first, it's a 2007 30 minute tv spot (sort of like those Ch4 sunday morning extreme sport programmes).

So I wondered, could we do something like this here? This year, we'll have a 4 event championship. Allowing for ad breaks, you'll be looking at about 25 minutes of footage. Between 4 events, thats 6 minutes/per event - surely we could cobble together that from the excellent videographers and photographers that support our sport.

Looking at the prog, they also have an official photographer/videographer in the water too - so the possibility of high quality official pics which could provide an additional revenue stream for the BBC (commercially and also to the competitors/friends/family etc.)

For our sponsors, that would be an added bonus - TV time. For our riders, increased profile and possibly more sponsorship. If we do move forward and secure a tour place, additional sponsorship is almost pre-requisite. Let's face it, most of the tour events are unlikely to ever be in the UK (although again, video of Wedge doing it's thing or Bossy reef as a comp destination might help).
